Short Story Dispenser
The Short Story Dispenser is a simple device with three illuminated buttons: 1 minute, 3 minute and 5 minute. Press one and out rolls a long strip of paper, randomly generated by the machine from its online bank of original and classic stories and poems. Wellesley Free Library is the first public library in New England to own a Short Story dispenser, thanks to the generous gift from Wellesley residents Gordon and Mary Ford Kingsley. It is located on the second floor near the windows overlooking Simons Park, adjacent to the Friends Reading Room. Stop in and print a story or read a story from home.
