Yes, your request may be through the Virtual Catalog or the Interlibrary Loan Department.
Covered beverages are allowed throughout the library. Snacks are allowed only in the Commons.
Once a child has been issued his or her own card, the account information is confidential regardless of age or relationship.
Because of privacy laws in the state of Massachusetts, only if you have his or her card or reserve notice in hand. Without the notice or the card, our staff is unable to give you the reserve. It does not matter if you know what the item is (i.e. its title, the author or subject).
No, without a library card we cannot disclose any information about the account.
Library cards are free; there is no charge for a replacement card.
Most material may be renewed twice if there are no outstanding requests for it. Lucky U items and items from other networks cannot be renewed.
Yes, a driver's license is acceptable; however using your library card will expedite service. A library card is required to use at the self checkout machine. You may also use the digital barcode on your library app
Donations are accepted for the Friends' book sale.
Wellesley Free Library cards are good for five years. They can be renewed in-person at the library, by calling us at 781-235-1610 ex 1104, or online using the e-Renew form on our Catalog Page.
