John Carmen a.k.a. Johnny Wendell (1973) 

            John became a Los Angeles-based talk show host and punk rock writer/musician under the name “Johnny Angel.”  A review of his book Looking for Lady Dee: A Punk Rock Mystery says:  “Johnny Angel lays out just who he is early on in this debut memoir-cum-novel … He cops to being blunt and confrontational.”
