Wellesley High School Writer: Jim Picariello (1989)

            Jim is the co-writer and associate producer of a new feature-length documentary titled, The Quietest Year, which explores the overt and hidden noise we experience and how it’s become a serious public health issue.  He describes the film: “Over the pandemic, while trapped at home, did you notice how noisy everything was? Or do you have your own personal noise pet peeve? Well, this doc explores how major and minor sleep disruptions and noise-based shocks to the system are more detrimental than we realize.”
