Greg Yaitanes

Greg, who was born in Wellesley, has had intriguing post-WHS connections with fellow grads on this list. At the 2008 Emmy Awards, he competed against George Mastras (WHS 1984) (Breaking Bad) and George’s sister Maria Mastras Jacquemetton (WHS 1982) (Mad Men). Greg won, for House.
Then he became an original “angel investor” in Biz Stone’s (WHS 1992) promising start up, named Twitter.
Greg’s film career began at WHS, where he wrote and directed Salad Bar: The Movie. After graduation, he went to the University of Southern California Film School. In his career, over the past 30+ years he has written and/or director and/or produced a number of popular t.v. shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Lost, Ray Donovan, CSI: NY, Alias, Nip/Tuck, and Prison Break.
Greg is now co-executive producer and director of the Game of Thrones’ prequel, House of the Dragon.
