The Miracle of Dunkirk – On Display

During World War II, thousands of Allied soldiers were stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, surrounded by the German Army. The Miracle of Dunkirk, also called Operation Dynamo, was an unimaginable evacuation and rescue of these soldiers between May 26th and June 4th, 1940.

Over 338,000 soldiers were saved.1
