Celebrate Memorial Day – On Display

Memorial Day is time for celebration and reflection. On the one hand, the weather is perfect for a BBQ or outdoor party, and the three day weekend makes it triple the fun! Visit our second floor display – “It’s BBQ Time!” – for the best BBQ and outdoor entertaining ideas.

On the other hand, Memorial Day is also a time to show thanks and appreciation for the fallen men and women who served our country. “Thank You, Veterans” is a second floor display featuring writings from returning veterans, advice for current veterans suffering from PTSD or struggling to re-acclimate, and other materials to help us better understand – and serve – those who have served us. Our Media Room display, “Celebrate Heroes,” features films about our soldiers in combat and what they endure. Thank you, Veterans!
